Huge Horse Could Get Into Record Books

A giant horse called Guinness could be set to race into the record books.

The pure-bred Irish draught horse owned by Joanna Shires is an amazing 19 hands high,which makes him 6ft 4in tall!

Joanna,32,from England,is making inquiries to see whether six-year-old Guinness could enter the Guinness Book of Records.

It is extremely rare for any horse from the giant breed to top 17.2 hands high.

Joanna said "They are supposed to grow until they are about four,but Guinness is still growing."

She has resisted offers for Guinness from police and the Royal Horseguard,who think his huge size and placid temperament would make him ideal for working with them.
