Don't mess with the Potter family - four of them have just gained black belts in karate.
Grandad David Potter,his daughter Karen,26,and her
two nephews,David,12,and Jason,nine,have all been awarded their
first dan.
Jason's mum Marie,from Farnworth,Greater Manchester,who is already a black belt first dan herself,got the family involved.
She said "My boys were getting bullied so I took them along to the gym to learn karate - I ended up joining lessons myself and I have been doing it ever since.
"We are delighted they have all done so well at the same time.We think we must be one of the few families who have four people getting a black belt on the same day.It is a hobby they all enjoy and hopefully the black belt will encourage them to keep going."
