Couple Get Bread As Wedding Gifts

A couple turned their backs on a lavish wedding and asked for loaves of bread instead of gifts.

Tabitha Cotterill,29,and Thomas Cadbury,33,turned their backs on a traditional ceremony in Gower,South Wales.

Tabitha,who lives with her husband in Cambridge,said "We wanted a non-religious ceremony that would reflect our own beliefs and values.

"I love Gower and we have always driven past the granary and said what an amazing place it is.

"There was actually an old tradition in that area whereby people used to bring bread as gifts to weddings,so it seemed a good idea."
