Body On Front Seat Is Prince Charles

Police officers who broke into Michele Luck-Jacques' car after receiving calls of a body on the front seat were shocked to find it was Prince Charles!

Luckily the blanket-covered corpse was not the real royal,but a masked mannequin.

Michele,from the south of England,said the rubber royal was her partner for a Women's Institue dance session the night before.

"I didn't have time to put him indoors so I lowered the passenger seat and covered him with a blanket when I went shopping."

The expert seamstress revealed that all the members of the WI group had made dummies as dance partners for a ballroom dance and she had left the Prince in the car park.

"In my attempt to disguise him,I obviously brought attention to him.The window had been broken very neatly and there was a note from the police which said I could claim compensation for it.

"When I left my car to meet a friend,I saw a lady looking at my car then look away immediately - I was ready to tell her it was a dummy but didn't bother."

Michele had enjoyed the evening before with her very own Prince and explained her pals had made replica models of John Travolta,Bill Clinton,Jack Nicholson,Mick Jagger,Tony Blair,Hugh Grant and Cher!

Local PC Damon Thorne,who found the rubber Royal,said "I was concerned in case there was a body in the car."
