Sexy Waitress Given The Boot
A bi-sexual former glamour model claims she lost her job as a waitress after bosses found out about her personal life.
Rebecca Milford,20,from Bedford, worked in one of the town's restaurants for around four weeks without any problems.
She made friends with other staff members and confided in one of them about her bisexuality and topless modelling work.
But a row with the pal led to bosses being told of Miss Milford's sexual leanings and her past.
She was spoken to by a manager who said the company didn't want young girls being influenced by her and told her she should keep her private life private.
Miss Milford said "I thought that was unfair as there are couples working there and they all go out together.
"I have had a boyfriend for a number of years and didn't see why I should be treated differently. But they just told me I am different."
She decided to give two weeks notice, intending to work out her shifts, but when she turned up for work a few days later she was told not to come back.
"I do think I have been treated badly.I know there was not a problem with my work as my boss told me I was a good worker.
"I need the job as I am going to college later in the year to study interior design and they knew that.
"I don't think they should be able to sack me because of what I am and I have registered my complaint with the industrial tribunal in the hope that I can stop this sort of thing happening to anyone else."
The restaurant concerned declined to comment.
