INGRID BARES ALL TO SAVE STARS' BLUSHES

She's the not-so-famous body who's played the boobs of Helena Bonham-Carter,the body of Samantha Janus,and now she's in the new Bond film.

Bedfordshire-based Ingrid Bradley's name doesn't roll off the tongue,yet she regularly bares all for shy stars.

Though you may see a world-famous face on the screen,the body might be Ingrid's...especially if it is naked.

Ingrid,of Luton,Beds,is prepared to remain anonymous,coining a tidy sum because she is prepared to strip off to save the blushes of the glamour queens.

She's already stood in for the body of British megastar Helena Bonham-Carter and TV's Samantha Janus.

You'll be watching her when the next James Bond film - The World Is Not Enough - hits the box office.

Her official job description is a "body double" but the bland CV title hides a lifestyle that might be the dream of many young women.

Ingrid,aged 32,who moved to Luton from her native Ireland when she was six,meets the rich and famous on an almost daily basis.

She has the best of both worlds - she's hit the Hollywood scene but without the high profile that dogs the lives of so many stars.

She "starred" in Kenneth Branagh's re-make of Frankenstein,standing in for Helena Bonham-Carter during a topless scene.

She recently filmed with one of the world's most desirable men,Pierce Brosnan,but he didn't impress her!

Scenes for the new Bond movie were shot at Luton Hoo,and she was called in to do a scene for the Millennium Dome.

She said of Brosnan "He is a lot shorter than I thought he was,and he is a bit thin...not my idea of hunky.But he is a very nice bloke."

As well as doubling for Samantha Janus,she has also appeared naked with Harry Enfield - a "lovely man" - in a sketch for his TV comedy series.

She appears in two new British films,The Criminal,where she is a topless podium dancer,and Room for Romeo Brass.

On television she is the regular barmaid in the firefighting series London's Burning.

Despite her life in showbiz,she's not star struck."I just get in there and do my bit and get out again" she said.

"I don't even watch television very much and very seldom go to the pictures."

Her most embarrassing moment came after having to take a nude bath with Colin Firth,a star of the Oscar-winning film Shakespeare in Love.

"We had to share a hot tub naked.I had to get stripped off first,and then he had to get his kit off as well.He was clearly embarrassed by the whole thing.

"But afterwards,he was a bit taken with me and kept coming up and talking to me.

"The crew all started singing 'Falling in Love Again'.That was really embarrassing."

She's preparing for more life in the raw when she starts shooting a new Channel Four film in Luton this week.

So why does she get the work? She said "I jsuppose it either costs too much to get the top stars to go topless or naked,or they are too shy - or they don't like their bodies."

Ingrid,with vital statistics of 34C-23-35,is not married,though she has a boyfriend."He is a lookalike for a young Clint Eastwood!" she says.

She's played hundreds of body doubles in her three years as an actress.

"I do not mind telling people about the normal ones,but I tend not to mention the nude doubling" she said.

"I do not want people thinking I am blowing my own trumpet."

Ingrid,who was born in Wicklow,Ireland,said "Most of my family are in the entertainment business.

"Some are actors,some are entertainers and some are involved in fairgrounds and the like,so I am no stranger to the this world."

Ingrid said she has appeared in several episodes of Touching Evil and Silent Witness,often playing a naked corpse on a mortuary slab.

"I have also double up for Catherine Hamilton in McCallum and play a lot of parts where nudity is required,such as podium dancers and hookers."

Ingrid says she has even appeared scantily clad on Chris Evans TFI Friday,introducing American band Bare Naked Ladies.
